Named after Simon's great uncle The Reverend Canon R.K. Sorby Adams OBE who was the Anglican Minister at St. Hugh’s Church in his hometown of Angaston from 1956 – 1960. This glorious blend of two classic grapes from the Barossa highlights a traditional favourite.
This great wine has a dark brick red colour with a magenta hue and aromas of blackcurrant and spiced plum that are complexed by chocolate and vanilla.
It has a wonderful flavour of chocolate brownies and cedar spice overlaying the black fruits and plum characters. It has outstanding fruit weight and power and the palate is wonderfully enhanced by velvety tannins. Full-throttled yet balanced and structured, with layers of delicious flavours.
